Do You Or Your Child Have Myopia (Nearsightedness)?

Myopia, or nearsightedness, is a vision condition in which people can see close objects clearly, but objects farther away appear blurred. People with myopia can have difficulty clearly seeing a movie or TV screen or the whiteboard in school. While the exact cause of myopia is unknown, there is evidence that many people inherit myopia, or at least the tendency to develop myopia. If one or both parents are nearsighted, the chance their children will be nearsighted is increased.

An eye care practitioner can diagnose myopia through a comprehensive eye exam. Once testing is complete, the eye care practitioner can discuss the option for Paragon® CRT Contact Lenses. Watch our video to learn how this non-invasive, non-surgical procedure provides great vision during the day without wearing daytime contacts or glasses.
